If you plan to use your insurance to cover massage sessions at Whidbey Massage Therapy, your first appointment must be a 90-minute Insurance Evaluation Session. This ensures we begin with a clear, informed plan of care and allows me to create the necessary documentation for both your chart and communication with other providers (if needed).

• A full review of your current health concerns

• A discussion of your goals and expectations

• A treatment plan tailored to your unique needs

• 15 minutes reserved at the beginning for intake and assessment, followed by a full-body massage focused on your target areas

• Comprehensive notes that can be shared with your physician, chiropractor, or other care professionals upon request.

💸 Important Info on Billing:

This initial evaluation is not billable to your insurance and must be prepaid out-of-pocket. This helps the clinic remain financially stable while we wait on insurance processing and payments, which may take several weeks or more.
